Denim – MUSA by Bananatex® x Berto
Two origins, one vision.
MUSA brings together regeneratively grown abacá and more than a century of Italian denim craft. With Berto Industria Tessile, a family-run mill founded in 1887, we have developed a range of denim that blends Bananatex® abacá yarn with organic cotton and traditional indigo dyeing.
These qualities exist, and more can be produced on request. Fabric is available for sampling, testing and prototyping. We'd like to see them in products people can buy, and we'd be glad to work on them with you.

From the fibre up
Berto turns abacá-based yarn into denim, combining its natural strength and breathability with organic cotton and the depth of indigo. Responsible dyeing and a spread technique give each fabric its own shade.
If you'd like to develop a product with MUSA denim, we'd be glad to hear from you.
