OUR FABRICS
Bananatex® is incredibly strong and durable while remaining soft, lightweight and
supple. The Natural White colorway reflects the actual color of the fibers and is not
dyed. An all-natural wax coating can be applied to make Bananatex® waterproof.
The resulting fabric has a smooth and distinctive handfeel.
Bananatex® is a fully circular, plastic-free and vegan solution with the lowest
possible environmental footprint. It is biodegradable in both industrial composts and
marine environments (EN 13432 and ISO 14851), adhering to Cradle to Cradle
principles.
